Pay-Per-Click Marketing & Bid Management Services

Pay-Per-Click Providers

Yahoo Search Marketing

Yahoo!® Search Marketing is a global leader in commercial on-line search services, providing new and more powerful ways for businesses and customers to connect.

Yahoo! Search Marketing offers a full suite of web search products and search-related services. Yahoo! Sponsored Search lists your business in the search results on six of the top U.S. search properties: MSN, Yahoo!, AltaVista, InfoSpace, AlltheWeb and NetZero.

Advertising with Yahoo gives access to 80% of web users.

Google Adwords

Google Adwords is Google's new premium advertising program that has dramatically influenced the paid placement game for all search engines, with positive implications for advertisers and searchers alike.

Google Adwords text ads appear on Google search result pages when a query matches the keywords purchased by advertisers. They appear to the right of search results, in small boxes labeled "sponsored links."

The Google Adwords Select program gives webmasters an unprecedented level of control over both placement of an ad, and the amount of an advertising budget spent to maintain that placement.

The Google Adwords program uses a cost-per-click model, similar to other paid placement programs offered by Overture and other services. However, unlike other programs where the highest bidder takes the top placement, Google Adwords measures click-through rates, or popularity to help determine the position of an ad.

Google Adwords Program also has distribution partnerships with AOL, AskJeeves, Teoma and other large portals. Google Adwords has recently introduced its content targeting program through Google AdSense.

MSN AdCenter

MSN AdCenter, which debuted in August 2005, allows advertisers to launch highly targeted online keyword search-based campaigns, with the ability to include or exclude target customers-based on geographic location, gender and age-and to run ads only during certain times and days.

The system competes with Google AdWords and will eventually replace a keywordbased advertising program that MSN currently contracts out to Yahoo. It has a simple user interface, and is notable for its use of customer profiling, taking advantage of the data MSN gathers from its more than 9 million subscribers.

Miva.com

Miva formerly FindWhat.com is a pay-per-click search engine similar to Yahoo!. It has wide distribution in the UK and Europe through Espotting. It lacks the distribution that Yahoo! or Google have; however, this isn't necessarily a negative. You may find that the smaller distribution base still brings in quality traffic and at less cost than the bigger players.

Kanoodle

Kanoodle is a PPC (pay-per-click) search engine that partners with a number of large meta search engines such as Dog Pile, Meta Crawler, Web Crawler, and search.com. In addition, Kanoodle partners with over 2500 other search partners that Kanoodle claims to be over 1 billion searches per month.
